The highly anticipated Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds had just been launched in India. But in just two minutes, the new true wireless earbuds from the former OnePlus Co Founder had been sold out.
In a recent tweet from Carl Pei, CEO and Founder of Nothing, the official revealed that the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds had been sold out in India. Although, this only included around 4.8K units of the new wireless earphones. Carl Pei also thanked the community in India for its support and added that it is working “around the clock to make more.” In other words, despite the limited stock being sold out in the region, the firm is working on bringing in more units since the earbuds has been quite successful in the region.
For those unaware, the Ear (1) is the first product ever from the company and sports a unique transparent design that sets it apart from various other TWS earbuds in the market. The earbuds each weigh 4.7 grams and feature 11.6mm drivers from Teenage Engineering. It also offers IPX4 rating for water resistance. The earbuds also sport in-ear detection and allows users to adjust active noise cancellation, activate transparency mode, and change the equalizer settings through the companion app.

The earbuds retailed in India for a price of 5,999 INR (roughly 80 US Dollars). This made it quite competitive in the region as it offers specifications that rival earbuds that cost twice or even three times more.
