Earlier we reported that Honor would soon launch a new color variant for its Honor 50 in China. Today, the Chinese phone maker has tossed the all-new color named ‘Code’ in the region.

The Honor 50 Code color variant is the fifth color in the palette. The other four colors are Midnight Black, Frost Crystal, Amber Red, and Emerald Green. The Code color brings a unique color variant to the series. It has each letter from the brand’s Honor branding printed on the back of the device.

The new color is priced at CNY 2,699(roughly $417) and will go on sale starting September 3rd in China.

The Honor 50 comes with a 6.57-inch curved display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has a quad-rear camera system with a 108MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and lastly a 2MP mono sensor. At the front, it has 32MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It packs a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology. Honor claims that it will go from 0% to 70% in just 20 minutes of charging. The smartphone has an under-display fingerprint scanner for security and boots on Android 11 out of the box with Magic UI 4.2 on top of it.
