Although Apple is yet to reveal the design of the upcoming iPhone 13 models, several leaked renders have given us an idea of what the rear design looks like but that of the display is still unknown. If you are expecting a notch design, you may be in for a shocker. An Apple device believed to be the iPhone 13 has appeared on a comedy series on Apple TV+ called Ted Lasso played by Jason Sudeikis.
In the recently aired episode six of season two titled “The Signal”, viewers spotted a notch-less iPhone 13 model in two different scenes. The phone did have the custom iPhone UI but the notch was lacking. Also, the rear design was spotted revealing a dual-camera setup similar to that of the vanilla iPhone 13 as spotted in some of the leaks.
Since 2017 when Apple released the iPhone X, the notch has been an integral part of the iPhone design, housing some key components for Face ID and the selfie camera. This year’s model was expected to feature a smaller-sized notch as Apple was believed to have shifted the Face ID components to under the screen or may have opted for Touch ID instead.
While it looks unlikely that Apple will intentionally leak the iPhone 13 design in such a manner, there is the possibility that this may indeed be the iPhone 13 expected to launch in September. Alternatively, it is possible that Apple employed digital special effects to mask the actual design of the device. This sounds plausible.
