Chinese tech company Anker has launched a new portable power bank that serves two functions for the Chinese market. The product dubbed Anker 2-in-1 Energy Bar combines a 5000mAh power bank with a fast-charging PD charger.
Anker 2-in-1 Energy Bar adopts a compact size and weighs just 170g. Since it is a 20W PD charger, it uses a two-pin design but the pins are foldable when not in use so that the adapter can easily be fitted into a small traveling bag without any obstruction. The product is equipped with Power IQ 3.0 charging technology, supports PD 20W fast charging output, and is compatible with Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, and other devices. Aner touts the power bank as capable of fully charging an iPhone 12 once when it is fully charged. 
In addition, the product also supports a low-current charging mode, which can charge smart fitness bands, TWS headsets, and other gadgets. Ordinarily, the power bank has an input voltage range of 100V~240V. It also features 10-fold safety protection measures. It takes just 2.5 hours to fully charge the 5000mAh battery. 
In terms of the price, the Anker Energy Bar will retail for 109 yuan (~$17) in China and is already on pre-sale via Jingdong (JD.com). It is expected to start shipping on September 14. It will be available in Black and Pink color options.
