The YOGA Pad Pro is one of the flagships tablets Lenovo announced this year. It has one advantage over most tablets and that’s because it doubles as a portable monitor. Today, the manufacturer has announced a new variant of the premium tablet that sports a different material finish.
The YOGA Pad Pro is available in only one color which is black but Lenovo adopted a dual-texture finish. The upper portion is covered in Alcantara while the lower half is metal. The new variant announced today swaps the Alcantara for leather. Lenovo has dubbed the new variant Midnight Aurora.
The tablet has a 13-inch 2K LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10. There is a Snapdragon 870 processor powering it with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage.
Lenovo ships the phone with four JBL speakers, an 8MP front-facing camera along with a TOF sensor for face unlock, and a 10200mAh battery. The tablet also has a micro HDMI port that allows users to connect it to a device with an HDMI output port, thus allowing the tablet to serve as an external display for the device. It also has support for stylus input.
The manufacturer has not yet announced when the leather version of the YOGA Pad Pro will be available neither has it revealed how much it will cost. It is also unknown if it will be available outside China.
