Vivo has scheduled a launch for its premium smartphone series dubbed the Vivo X70. The series will debut on September 9, and we are expected to see three phones at the launch event. Ahead of its launch, China Telecom has listed the phones with their major specs.
According to the listing, the Vivo X70 series will bring major changes to the cameras and will have ZEISS optics. The Vivo X70 will feature a triple rear camera system placed vertically. It will have a 40MP main sensor, a 12MP UW lens, and a 12MP portrait camera lens.

On the other hand, the Vivo X70 Pro and Pro+ will boast a quadruple-camera system. Starting with the X70 Pro, it will feature a 50MP main lens, a 12MP UW sensor, a 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera. The Pro+ will have a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP UW sensor, a 12MP portrait camera, and lastly an 8MP telephoto lens.
Some of the other specs confirmed by China TELECOM are a 6.56-inch AMOLED display on the X70 and X70 Pro. And, a larger 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED panel on the X70 Pro+. The two former models will have an FHD+ display and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The X70 Pro+ will have a QHD+ resolution and 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Additionally, the vanilla smartphone will have a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Pro has a 4,450mAh battery with the same 44W fast charging support. Vivo’s X70 Pro+ will pack a 4,500mAh with a 55W fast charging. The X70 and the Pro models will be powered by Exynos 1080 SoC, whereas, the X70 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC.
