Google had previously announced that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones were scheduled for release in the fall of 2021.  In June this year, tech giant Google opened its first brick-and-mortar store located in the Chelsea area of New York City. The company has now placed these smartphones on display in its New York City store. Visitors to the store can now have a close look at the devices but they are not allowed to touch the two smartphones.Google Pixel 6

Earlier this week, Google provided a teaser of the Pixel 6, but the Google store Chelsea is the closest anyone has gotten to these devices. Google’s first retail store in New York City offers a scenic display of discovery boxes and it is among these boxes that adorn the floor to ceiling of the store, that you will find the two smartphones. The boxes advertise various themes, integrations, and products. According to Google, the discovery boxes are arranged in a manner that combines aesthetics with an advertisement, as the two products are shown from the boxes.

The background is themed to the color variant of the two devices. On the display are both the names of the smartphones and the information that it is coming by fall 2021. The QR code on the display covered the view of the rear camera of the device. However, the QR code, when scanned, takes you to the Google Store landing page which was recently updated.

We already know some color variants of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones and these include red, orange, pink, and gold. A few things are however still pending for the two smartphones and this includes the absence of FCC certification for both models. We can be sure that the Google Store Chelsea could be one of the first stores to receive and sell the two smartphones when they land in the fall of 2021.
