Realme has confirmed that the brand’s latest smartphone, dubbed Realme GT Neo2, is all set to go official on 22nd September. Ahead of the launch, the company has been shared key features of the device.

In the latest development, Xu Qi, Vice President at Realme and President of Realme China confirmed that the upcoming GT Neo2 smartphone will come with dual stereo speakers and will the first batch of devices will also support Dolby Atmos Games.

The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits brightness, DC Dimming, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It is also confirmed to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. Realme has also revealed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and have a diamond ice core cooling system.

The device is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As for the camera configuration, it has been reported that the smartphone will be having a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera.

The Realme GT Neo2 will come powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have support for 65W fast charging technology. We expect the smartphone to be running the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Realme UI on top.

A recent report claims that along with the Snapdragon 870 SoC, there will be another model of the smartphone that will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset and some minor changes internally.

Coming to the pricing, the MediaTek-powered variant could be priced around 2,000 yuan, which is approximately $310 while the Qualcomm-powered variant, which is said to be focused on gaming, is expected to cost around 2,500 yuan, about $387.
