Realme is reportedly working on a new Snapdragon 778G SoC-powered handset for China. A recent report revealed that it will be arriving in the market as a Q-series smartphone. It is now known through Realme’s Vice President for China, Wan Wei Derek that this device will be releasing in the market with the Realme Q3s moniker.

The Realme Q3s is slated for an October launch. Derek claimed that the reason why the device is not called Realme Q4 or Q5 is that the company plans to launch only one Q-series phone in the second half of the year. As compared to the Snapdragon 750G powered Realme Q3, the Q3s will be a comprehensive upgrade with stronger specs.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 778G SoC-powered Realme Q3s will come equipped with a 144Hz LCD panel and it will offer a long battery life. The tipster added that the company will continue to focus on the GT series and Q lineup in China.

Recently, a Realme phone with an RMX3461/3 model number was certified by the TENAA authority. The handset has a 6.59-inch LTPS display FHD+ display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit.
