Apple is apparently facing issues in keeping up with demand for its newly launched iPhone 13 series. A new report has revealed that the delivery times for the new iPhones have extended even further due to the impacts of COVID-19.
According to a Reuters report, sources close to the matter have revealed that the delivery times for the new smartphones from the Cupertino based giant are longer than expected as a wave of Coronavirus infections have impacted Vietnam. In other words, it has caused issues in supply as components for the iPhone 13 lineup are assembled in the region. This includes the new camera module for the 2021 iPhone series.

The report further added that this disruption is expected to ease as early as mid October. As of right now, the impact of the new infections has affected supplied of camera modules for all four of the new iPhone 13 series models. These are assembled in Vietnam, so the wait times for your new iPhone might be longer.
