OPPO will be launching a new A-series smartphone on Oct. 1 in India. A teaser image that appeared on Amazon India last week suggested that OPPO could be gearing up to launch the OPPO A55 4G in India. An updated microsite, which confirms some of the key features of the smartphone is now available on the retailer site.

The microsite reveals that the next A-series phone for India will feature a 6.51-inch punch-hole display with the eye comfort feature. For security, it will offer a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The display punch-hole available at the upper-left corner will house a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens.
