Samsung announced the Galaxy A03s smartphone with a price tag of Rs 11,499 in India last month. Fresh information reveals that the South Korean company is working on a phone called the Galaxy A03, which appears to be a lower version of the A03s. The new handset has been spotted at FCC and Geekbench (via) recently.

A Samsung phone with model number SM-A032M has appeared at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. Its other variant with model number SM-A032F has appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking site. These model numbers suggest that this device may release in the market with the Galaxy A03 moniker.

The Galaxy A03’s FCC certification revealed that it could be arriving with a 5,000mAh battery. It also reveals that there is no support for 5G connectivity on the device. The Geekbench listing of the A03 reveals that it will be fueled by the modest Unisoc SC9863A, which indicates that it will be an entry-level phone.

The A03’s Geekbench appearance also revealed that it has 2 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. Since the Galaxy A02 was made available 3 GB RAM variant, it is likely that the A03 may also come in a 3 GB RAM option. The other details of the smartphone are under the wraps. It is likely that it will borrow some of its specs from the A03s and debut at some point in October.

The Galaxy A03s has a 6.5-inch HD+ display, Helio P35 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. It comes with other features such as a 5-megapixel selfie camera, a 13-megapixel triple camera unit, and Android 11 OS.
