Intel has restructured its marketing campaign to target Apple since it dropped the semiconductor company’s chips in favor of its own self-made one, the Apple M1. In the past year, Apple has announced new computers such as the new iMac, Mac Mini, and MacBooks that are powered by its Apple M1 chip and not Intel’s processors. The two companies which conducted business together for years are now rivals. Intel has released a new video in which it tries to convince Apple users that the grass is blueer greener on the other side.

In the video titled “Breaking the Spell: Social Experiment”, Intel has some Apple users over at its office, and it tries to find out what these users want but can’t get from current Apple devices. The responses range from being able to customize the hardware to a touchscreen and to gaming.

Intel then uses the chance to market products from partner companies such as ASUS and Microsoft, though it does well not to mention their names. It then takes the users into a different room where they can see all products that have the aforementioned features they want.

It is a nice marketing video but we doubt there will be hordes of Apple users switching to Intel (read Windows) just because they need these features Apple’s own devices are lacking.

The new Apple M1-powered devices have received positive reviews and have performed beyond expectations. The Arm processor is not only faster than several Intel chips but the battery life is also amazing. There are Intel-powered PCs that also have incredible battery life and jaw-dropping performance but Intel’s biggest advantage is the options available for users. From 2-in-1 computers to detachables to foldables, there sure are several options to choose from if you want to pick up an Intel-powered device.
