ZMI, a Xiaomi-backed company known for making charging products, also has a lineup of true wireless earphones. Now, the company has announced that its TWS Earbuds series has crossed the benchmark of selling over 1 million units.
Making the announcement, the Research & Development team of ZMI TWS Earphones expressed gratitude to the users for their support and trust. The team added that they will continue to move forward with persistent efforts to provide more good choices.
ZMI had launched its first true wireless earbuds in its home market last year — ZMI Purpods and Purpods Pro, priced at 199 yuan and 399 yuan respectively. As the name indicates, the Pro is a high-end variant that comes with support for Active Noise Cancellation and offers up to 35dB noise reduction.
Earlier this year, the company starting selling the PurPods true wireless earbuds for 199 yuan but it currently retails for 179 yuan. It comes with EQsmart adaptive technology that adjusts the volume according to the sound levels in the users’ surroundings.
Interestingly, the ZMI TWS Headset Team also developed the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earphones that were launched for 349 yuan. It features Active Noise Cancellation up to 35dB and offers ultra-low latency of 69ms.
