The brand will be using the investment towards its research and development for the new model that will have the ability to operate both in the sky and on the ground. Zhao Deli, founder and president of HT Aero, stated that the brand’s next generation model will feature a “fully integrated flying vehicle and automobile, designed for both low altitude air travel and road driving.”

Zhao further added that HT Aero is planning for a launch of the new vehicles in 2024. Although, the senior official has yet to reveal any official date or timeline for this launch. For those unaware, the company is an affiliate brand of Xpeng, which is an electric vehicle based start up from China. Furthermore, Xpeng’s founded He Xiaopeng as well as the automobile company itself are also investors in HT Aero.
