Xiaomi has just confirmed the processor that will power certain models of the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones. In a Weibo post (a Chinese microblogging website), the company revealed that the new device in the lineup will feature MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor.

Previous reports had hinted at the Chinese tech giant launching the Redmi Note 11 Pro with Dimensity 920 chipset. But now, the company has officially confirmed that the processor will be found in the series. Meaning, This would include the Note 11 and Note 11 Pro, meanwhile, the Note 11 Pro+ is expected to feature the Dimensity 1200U SoC. Unfortunately, the brand did not reveal any other finer details regarding the smartphone apart from just the processor as of right now.

Redmi

Although, our reports in the past had pointed at a 5,000mAh battery pack on the Pro models, with the Pro+ featuring 120W fast charging while the Note 11 Pro supports 67W fast charging. The Pro series is also expected to feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate with FHD+ resolution and a punch hole camera on the front. However, Xiaomi did confirm that the Redmi Note 11 Pro/Pro+ will feature a 108 megapixel primary camera on the rear, reportedly paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Keep in mind that some of these specifications are based on rumors so take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more updates.
