Honor’s new phone will be a mid-range 5G device whose primary selling point is its large display. Screenshots of the phone’s product page posted on Weibo show there are a lot more features other than just the big screen.

The Honor X30 Max will have a 7.09 LCD display with a waterdrop notch and a 2280 x 1080 resolution. The RGBW panel has a DCI-P3 color gamut, blue-light protection, and multiple eye protection features. Honor says that the phone has a 90% screen-to-body ratio and that it has been designed to be carried with one hand. It has a thickness of 8.3mm and 35° curved corners that make it comfortable to hold.

There is a Dimensity 900 5G processor powering it and it is paired with 8GB of RAM. Buyers will be able to pick up the phone in 128GB or 256GB storage variants. There is GPU Turbo X, Honor’s new graphics engine that is also available on the Honor V40.

The spec sheet confirms the phone will have an 8MP front-facing camera and a 64MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back. It will have NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, symmetrical stereo speakers, and HONOR Histen audio technology.

The Honor X30 Max will pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. When it launches tomorrow, it will be available in gradient purple, blue, and black.
