Xiaomi is set to officially launch the Redmi Note 11 in China tomorrow (October 28). The company has released several teasers detailing the features that’ll be on the device such that almost everything is known already. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi Note 11 has now been certified by China’s telecom regulatory body TENAA. The device appears with the model number Xiaomi 21091116AC.
The vanilla Note 11 is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display with an FHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a display aspect ratio of 20:9. The display type is confirmed by the TENAA listing to be an OLED screen but noted Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station says the oLED listing is an error and that the device will pack an LCD panel. The Pro model is expected to have an OLED screen, though. The tipster also hinted of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the vanilla model. The listing doesn’t include any image of theh device.
Further, the TENAA listing shows the edmi Note 11 will pack a 4,900mAh battery and a USB-C charging port. The main camera is a 16MP sensor teaming up with a 5MP sensor. The vanilla model will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset as against the Dimensity 920 which is confirmed to power the Note 11 Pro. It will come in 4GB/6GB/8GB/12GB RAM options as well as 64GB/128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. We doubt if the device will be available in all these memory options.
In a related development, the Redmi Note 11 bearing the same model number appeared on the database of benchmark website GeekBench. The listing confirms the presence of a Dimensity 810 chipset. The device scored 603 on the single-core test and 1779 on the multi-core test. It is also shown to run on Android 11 which will certainly have a touch of the latest MIUI version.
