This custom skin for Android means that Huawei is keeping EMUI around for its smartphones launched outside China. In its home country, the company is using its own HarmonyOS for its devices and isn’t limited to just smartphones.

The newly announced EMUI 12 comes with a refreshed user interface and tons of customizations. It now has a cleaner, minimalist, and realistic interface that makes use of three colors — white, black, and blue.

It not only allows users to adjust the font size but also its weight just with a slider. There’s also an easy access control panel allowing users to control playback, get access to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings as well as shortcuts, and connected devices on Device+.

Huawei also introduced Device+, which is a feature that allows for easy collaboration between Huawei devices, including multi-screen collaboration, making calls, sending messages, and viewing photos, and more.

The EMUI 12 also comes with improved performance, better response time, and smooth app startups, as well as better and improved security features. You can check out all the new features of this new EMUI by clicking here.
