The Huawei AppGallery has just announced the launch of Snoop in the UK. The company’s application store has just announced the partnership with an award winning money management app to offer users “powerful money management tools.”

The Chinese tech giant shared the announcement earlier today (26th October 2021). Snoop will use open banking technology to offer users’ tools to better manage their personal finances through a ‘one stop platform,’ which combines user’s various bank accounts, credit cards and transaction data all in a single platform. The service will support more than 50 UK based financial firms working in collaboration with Snoop.

This includes top banking and credit card providers like Lloyds, Halifax, Barclays, HSBC, NatWest and Santander. According to Antony Simm, Co founder at Snoop “Our award winning app uses Open Banking and advanced analytics to help people spend, save and live smarter. The app’s personalized money saving insights can save the average household £1,500 per year and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Huawei to help make everyone better off.”

Similarly, Siri G. Børsum, Global VP Finance Vertical Eco development & Partnerships at Huawei Consumer BG stated that “At Huawei, we’re passionate about providing our users with access to a choice of financial services and apps. By driving competition in the digital financial services space, we’re encouraging this access to choice, by which we hope to increase global financial health overall.”
