According to MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz), Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi 11 Pro+ in India under Xiaomi branding. He says that there are no other regional variants of these phones as of now. Hence, they will most likely remain exclusive to China and India.

As far as the names for India are concerned, Redmi Note 11 Pro will be called Xiaomi 11i, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will release as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.

Additionally, in select global markets, these new Redmi handsets will be sold under their original marketing names.

This is not the first time Xiaomi has rebranded a Chinese Redmi Note for India. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G from late 2020 is sold as Mi 10i 5G in the country.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ have an identical set of specifications. The only major differences between the two are battery size and fast charging capabilities.

The Pro comes with a 5,160mAh battery and 67W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Pro+ is backed by a smaller 4,5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

Xiaomi is yet to release the Xiaomi 11T Pro in India. Hence, the country does not have a 120W fast-charging smartphone. Now, as Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is set to debut in the region as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, it will be interesting to see which one will make entry first.
