HP has just launched a new gaming monitor in the market. It is a curved gaming monitor that offers top notch specs, but, at a very reasonable price point. So let’s take a look at its features.
The new gaming monitor in question is the Omen 27c that sports a 27 inch panel that has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440px. It has a VA panel that offers 1000R curvature and even supports 240Hz refresh rate as well. So, if you’re rocking top tier specs on your PC, you can expect to see a pretty smooth gaming experience. The 240Hz refresh rate is output through a DisplayPort, while an HDMI cable will support up to 144Hz.
The display has a contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and supports HDR400. Its panel offers 450 nits of brightness, which is just decent, although the company claims that the display offers 99 percent DCI P3 color gamut. While the 530 US Dollar price tag doesn’t exactly scream budget, it is quite reasonable for these top notch specs that it is offering. The pricing is for the US market, with the Omen 27c is already available for purchase as of right now.
