Honor opens its highly automated Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenzhen, China
Since it became independent of Huawei, Honor has continued to blossom in several directions. This is in spite of the threat of a stricter stance from the United States due to its perceived Huawei links. Honor has now unveiled its first self-funded smartphone production facility since its sale by Huawei in 2020. The milestone is a very impressive one, as the new Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenzhen, China will produce the brand’s major products with a production speed of about 126 units every hour.
The new production facility has about 75% automation in the production process. The complex will also handle several performance issues including, quality control and product certification. The facility will also serve as an incubator hub for Honor’s highly impressive AI and hardware development teams.
