Earlier this week, we covered Apple’s temporary suspension of sales in Turkey following the Turkish lira collapsing against the U.S. dollar and rising economic concerns. A new report has surfaced reporting resumed sales by Apple in Turkey, but with increased product prices.

This past week, the Turkish lira saw a collapse in value against the U.S dollar, which caused Apple to suspend sales of their product in the country. At its worst point, recorded on November 23, the Turkish lira was equivalent to about 0.078 US Dollars. Since then, the value of the currency against the U.S. Dollar has fluctuated and currently sits around 0.080 US Dollars.

According to a new report by MacRumors, Apple has resumed sales of its products in the country by introducing a hike in prices across the board. The data provided by MacRumors lists the increase in Apple product prices as below.

  • iPhone 13 Pro Max now starts at 22,999 TL, up from 17,999 TL
  • iPhone 13 Pro now starts at 19,999 TL, up from 14,999 TL
  • iPhone 13 mini now starts at 13,999 TL, up from 10,999 TL
  • iPhone 13 now starts at 14,999 TL, up from 11,999 TL
  • Apple Watch Series 7 now starts at 5,399 TL, up from 4,399 TL
  • Apple Watch SE now starts at 3,799 TL, up from 3,099 TL
  • Apple Watch Series 3 now starts at 2,699 TL, up from 2,199 TL
  • 16-inch MacBook Pro now starts at 35,499 TL, up from 28,999 TL
  • 14-inch MacBook Pro now starts at 28,999 TL, up from 23,499 TL
  • 13-inch MacBook Pro now starts at 17,499 TL, up from 14,999 TL
  • 13-inch MacBook Air now starts at 13,499 TL, up from 10,999 TL

According to this data, we see an increase of 3,000 Turkish lira ($242) across the iPhone 13 series except for the iPhone 13 Pro Max variant, which saw a rise of 5,000 lira ($404). MacBook prices rose too, with the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook pro both receiving an increased cost of 3,000 Turkish lira ($242), whereas the 14-inch MacBook Pro and the 16-inch Pro variant received a price hike of 5,000 lira ($404) and 7,000 lira ($565) respectively. Similar price trends were observed across all products offered by Apple in Turkey.
