BBK subsidiary Vivo is expected to launch the S12 series in China next month. The series is comprised of the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro. The two upcoming Vivo phones were recently certified by TENAA and 3C in China bearing the model numbers V2162A and V2163A. A tipster has now released a couple of images of the S12 on Twitter, showing the front and rear designs.

Although the image is blurry, we can see that the Vivo S12 will have a similar front design as the S12 Pro. What we can’t say for sure is if there will be a curved edge display on the side of the display screen.  We already know, from leaks, that the S12 Pro will have a curved edge display. The S12 may likely have the same curved-edge display considering that both models have the same notch design at the top of the display.

The rear aspect of the vanilla S12 is shown to hold a triple camera setup aligned vertically at the top left corner of the rear panel. The camera specification is not known but the S12 Pro is expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera. There may likely be some variation in the camera setup on the S12.

In addition, the Pro variant is expected to come in three color variants while the S12 will be available in a single color. The leaked image is that of a gold color model.

Vivo is yet to officially reveal the launch itinerary of the S12 series but we expect the launch schedule to be revealed soon.
