iQOO is reportedly working on the iQOO 9 series of flagship phones. A reliable tipster from China has confirmed has shared the rumored launch timeline of the iQOO 9 lineup.

According to the tipster, the iQOO 9 lineup may debut in the second week of January 2022. Unfortunately, the rumor mill is yet to share the specifications of the iQOO 9.

iQOO announced the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro flagship phones driven by the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 888+ chipsets back in August this year. Hence, it is likely that the company may unveil the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones with different chipsets.

The company recently confirmed that it will be launching a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There is a possibility that this chipset could be present under the hood of the iQOO 9 Pro. The vanilla model may not get the same chip. Probably, the company may use the Snapdragon 888 or the Dimensity 900 to power it. The rumor mill is expected to spill more information on the iQOO 9 series in the coming weeks.

A recent report claimed that the iQOO 9 series may debut in India in February 2022. It is expected to arrive with support for 120W fast charging.
