Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee has unveiled its first female-oriented smartwatch called the DG Venus. Doogee has gradually made inroads into the smartwatch firmament and the female-centric DG Venus is bound to draw attention from a significant half of the market. The DG Venus comes with a very colorful design, loads of themes, and a slim watchband.
The Doogee DG Venus underscores its female-centric design with its lightweight (it weighs just 34g) and 9.6mm thickness. The circular display has a single button on the right side of the smartwatch for controls. The DG Venus has sleep tracking functionality as well as heart rate monitoring and 7 sports mode. Up to 7 days of activity is assured with the Doogee DG Venus, although the watch lacks a SIM slot, meaning that it must be paired via Bluetooth for app support via a smartphone.
The Doogee Venus is priced at $50 and comes in six color variants namely purple, pink, gold, blue, green, and red. The availability of the Doogee DG Venus smartwatch is tied to the Doogee website and the sales will commence on December 15. The company will expectedly scale up the availability of the DG Venus subsequently.
