Vivo is working on a couple of new budget-friendly phones for China. The upcoming Vivo Y33s 5G was spotted at the 3C certification recently. Last week, the Vivo Y32 phone was approved by the TENAA authority of China. Now, another device with a V2140A model number has bagged TENAA’s certification. As usual, the listing has revealed the major specifications and images of the V2140A. Unfortunately, the final moniker of the device is yet to be confirmed.

The Vivo V2140A is a mid-range smartphone that supports 4G LTE connectivity. The device has 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm dimensions and it weighs 179 grams. It is fitted with a 6.51-inch AMOLED display that delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Probably, it will carry support for a 60Hz refresh rate.

The back panel of the phone has a 13-megapixel main camera, which is coupled with a 2-megapixel depth/macro lens. It has a front camera of 8-megapixel. It seems that the device will come preinstalled with Android 11.

The V2140A is powered by an unknown octa-core chip that comprises four CPU cores working at 2.35GHz and the other four CPU cores clocking at 1.8GHz. In China, the device will come with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of storage.

The V2140A has a 4,910mAh rated value battery. As shown above, the 3C certification of the device reveals it may come with support for 10W charging. Now that the V2140A has received TENAA and 3C certifications, it may go official as early as this month in the home market.
