In October, Honor announced the Honor X30i and Honor X30 Max smartphones. It recently confirmed that the Honor X30 will be breaking cover at 3 PM (local time) on Dec. 16 in China. Now, the live shots of the handset have appeared online to showcase the design of the phone.

The Honor X30 hands-on images show that it will be equipped with a punch-hole display and thin bezels. It has an attractive round-shaped camera module on the back. The camera ring has three cameras and an LED flash.

It appears that the X30 is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The hands-on images show that it will come in colors like black, silver/white, and gold. The below-shown render shared by Honor confirms that it will also come in a blue variant.

The Honor X30 is expected to debut as the first-ever phone powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset, which indicates that it will carry support for 5G connectivity. It may feature an IPS LCD panel that offers a 90Hz refresh rate.

The X30’s rear camera setup is said to feature a 48-megapixel main camera. It is likely to be accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is expected to offer a long battery life. Probably, it will carry support for 66W fast charging. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the device.

In related news, Honor has recently launched the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro smartphones in China. The Chinese manufacturer is also said to be working on the Honor 60 SE. However, it is unclear whether it will debut before the end of this year. The Q1 2022 period is likely to see the arrival of the Honor Magic Fold foldable phone.
