After its release earlier this month, Motorola’s Edge X30 became the first smartphone to arrive carrying Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc. Now, the device receives its first system update which brings along multiple bug fixes, software updates, and optimizations.

According to an ITHome report, the update has the version number SOSC32.16-29-12 and carries the latest December Android security patch. The update also brings newer versions of multiple software, including Mobile Manager, Moto App, Moto Display, Moto Wallet, Moto Personalization, Dolby Atmos, Device Help, Clock, Health Check, Real-time Subtitles, Voice Recorder, Phone, Message, Moto Game, Moto Camera, Moto Gallery. In addition to that, the update also brings optimization changes and multiple bug fixes, which are mentioned below.

This software update with version number SOSC32.16-29-12 was released earlier today and will be available for Moto Edge X30 owners via OTA update.
