Vivo S12, S12 Pro, and Vivo Watch 2 are scheduled to debut on Dec. 22 in China. The rumor mill has been consistently spilling information about the Pro model, but there haven’t been concrete leaks on the specs of the vanilla model. Now the Vivo S12 has appeared with all its specifications in China Telecom’s product library (via). The listing has also revealed its design and pricing.
Vivo S12 specifications (Rumored)
The Vivo S12 has 157.2 x 72.42 x 7.55 dimensions, and it weighs 181 grams. It has a flat and notched AMOLED display of 6.44 inches. While it confirms support for full HD+ resolution, it is likely to arrive with 90Hz refresh rate support since it was available on the Vivo S10.
The Dimensity 1100 chip, which fueled the S10 will continue to power the S12. The device will offer 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage options. It will come with Android 11 OS. Reports have revealed that S12 and S12 Pro will be the first Vivo phones to come with OriginOS Ocean UI preinstalled.
Moving to the back, the Vivo S12 has a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie-focused smartphone will be equipped with a 44-megapixel main selfie camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper. It will be packed with other features like a 4,200mAh battery, 44W fast charging, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C port. It will lack a 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo S12 pricing (Rumored)
The Vivo S12 will come in three colors such as Shimmering Black, Warm Gold, and Lake Blue. The 8G B RAM + 256 GB storage model is listed for 2,999 Yuan (~$470) and the higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant is listed for 3,339 Yuan (~$535). The pricing information may be incorrect since it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
