Xiaomi will be launching the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X smartphones on Dec. 28 in China. The company has been sharing details about the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro handsets before launch, but it is yet to share key details about the Xiaomi 12X. Today, tipster Really Assen share all the major specifications of the 12X along with its pricing. Before reading ahead, readers should note that the details that she shared are just her speculations.

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 12X may come with a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with curved edges and a punch-hole design. It supports a Full HD+ resolution, 12-bit colors, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a Samsung S5K3T2 20-megapixel front camera. The rear shell of the device could be fitted with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 with OIS support, a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel telemacro camera.

The Snapdragon 870 chipset is said to be the driving force of the Xiaomi 12X. It may come with 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The 12X could be equipped with other features like Gorilla Glass Victus protection, 6-series aluminum alloy frame, an X-axis linear motor, NFC, IR blaster, and stereo speakers. For security, it may feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will run on MIUI 13 based on Android 11.

Xiaomi 12X pricing (speculated)

The Xiaomi 12X may come in models like 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. They may cost 2,999 Yuan (~$471), 3,299 Yuan (~$518), and 3,599 Yuan (~$565), respectively. In all likelihood, the Xiaomi 12X could be a toned-down version of the Xiaomi 12 flagship, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
