Even with the reduction, the prices are much higher than last year’s lineup. The Xiaomi 17 launched at €999 for 256GB and €1,099 for 512GB, which makes the Xiaomi 18 Pro €400 and €500 higher, respectively. The two models aren’t direct equivalents, but the difference is still considerable.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max also costs €300 more at the top end than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which launched at €1,499 and came with 16GB of RAM. The new model reportedly offers only 12GB. With the Xiaomi 18 Ultra reportedly cancelled, the Pro Max could become the most expensive model in the Xiaomi 18 series.

Differences in the European versions

The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to have a 6,000mAh typical battery in Europe, compared with 7,000mAh in China. The Pro Max reportedly gets a 7,050mAh battery in Europe, down from 8,500mAh in its home market.

As for charging, the Xiaomi 18 Pro reportedly supports 90W wired charging, down from 100W in China, while the Pro Max retains 100W charging. Both models support 50W wireless charging.

The European versions are reportedly lighter, too. The Xiaomi 18 Pro weighs 199g, while the Pro Max comes in at 231g, with each shedding 4g compared with its Chinese counterpart.

The device is said to come in black, white, and Velvet Red. Cosmic Blue and a fourth option exclusive to the Xiaomi Store in France.
