Xiaomi 12, the upcoming compact flagship phone, will be made official on Dec. 28. A fresh leak by Xiaomiui has revealed all the major specifications of the smartphone. The company will be announcing it with Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphones through the upcoming launch event.

The Xiaomi 12 will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, 419ppi pixel density, 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colors, HDR10+, and 1500 nits of brightness. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will full the device with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The leak claims that the Xiaomi 12 has a 20-megapixel selfie camera. However, Xiaomi recently confirmed that it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera that will tag along a native beauty filter that will offer advanced pixel-level skin rejuvenation based on GAN (generative adversarial network). The rear camera setup of the phone may feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 123-FOV, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Xiaomi 12 will feature a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It will also support 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Xiaomi 12 will ship with MIUI 13 based Android 12. Lastly, the device will come equipped with Dolby Vision supported stereo speakers powered by the Harmon Kardon technology. The report claims that the device will come in three variants such as 8 GB RAM + 128 Gb storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
