On Christmas Eve, OPPO announced a new version of the newly launched OPPO Reno7 in China. This variant of the smartphone is called OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition. As the name suggests, it is themed after the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 1, 2022. This handset is now up for pre-order.

OPPO Reno 7 New Year Edition Red Velvet A

The OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition sports an exclusive paint job. It comes in an eye-catching Red Velvet hue with a matte finish.

As the upcoming Chinese New Year is the ‘Year of the Tiger’, there’s also a tiger’s head embossed near the OPPO branding at the bottom right side of the phone’s rear panel.

Apart from the aforementioned differences, the OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition is the same as the regular OPPO Reno7 inside out. In fact, it also costs the same. But customers who pre-order the device before the sale kickstarts on December 30 will get a ¥50 discount.

  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥2,999
  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥3,299
