Nokia G50 was announced back in September in the budget segment offering an HD+ screen, 48MP cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery. The device seems to now launch in other markets as well, as the phone has been certified by the National Telecommunications Agency in Brazil.

According to the certification, a Nokia phone with model number TA-1370 was approved. Unfortunately, it doesn’t reveal any specs of the G50 but it confirms that the phone will soon launch in Brazil.

Previously, the phone’s battery with model number P660 was also approved in Brazil. It revealed that the battery is produced by Guangdong Fenghua New Energy in China and is a 5,000mAh cell. These certifications corroborate that the Brazilian launch of the smartphone is imminent.

The Nokia G50 comes with a 6.82-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It has a 60Hz standard refresh rate and boasts a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has an 8MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera system. The device has a 48MP primary lens, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth unit.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology. It has 4GB, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of 128GB of onboard storage. The phone comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB. It has a USB Type-C for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio needs. As for security, it has got a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
