Motorola is gearing up to launch its flagship smartphones in India soon. The company had launched the Moto Edge X30 in China back in December 2021 and a new certification listing has hinted at its imminent launch in India as well.

While the initial launch date in India for the Edge X30 wasn’t officially announced, a previous report had hinted at a late January or an early February release. Now, the device has just been spotted on the BIS certification database with the model number XT2201-01 (Via 91Mobiles). In other words, the launch of the Edge X30 in India might be just around the corner.

Although the device was spotted in the certification listing, it did not reveal any finer details regarding the model that is launching in India. But, we do know the key specs from the initial Chinese launch last month. The Moto Edge X30 sports a 6.7 inch OLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 576Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also offers 100 percent DCI P3 colour gamut, HDR10+, a punch hole cutout, and an in display fingerprint sensor as well. On the rear, it housed a 50 megapixel triple camera setup.

Meanwhile, the front featured a 60 megapixel selfie shooter. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 runs the device, which is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack. It houses up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, so it remains to be seen what variants will be available in India. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure. So stick with us for more updates.
