OnePlus has just rolled out a new update for its Buds Pro true wireless earbuds. The new update brings the Dual Connection feature that lets users seamlessly switch between two connected devices.
Talking about this new feature, it will allow you to use your Buds Pro earbuds with two different devices that are connected via Bluetooth. So now, users can save the pairing information of two connected devices and easily switch between the two, without the hassle of disconnecting and reconnecting. One great example of its usefulness is when you’re watching a movie with your headphones and receive a call. Simply switching to the earbuds to pick the call and switching back when you’re done.
Furthermore, the process to setup this is also quite easy, although, it is a few taps away in the menu. However, the Chinese smartphone brand has offered a tutorial in the OnePlus forums along with some screenshots if you need any help during setup. At the moment, the firmware update is rolling out in a staggered manner, so it is yet to be available for everyone right now. You can check for any pending updates or might have already received the update, which has the firmware version 531.531.xxx (Via AndroidPolice).
