Meizu through a new product launch event today launched PANDAER’s first desktop Bluetooth speaker along with some other products. PANDAER is one of Meizu’s sub-brands and is comprised of a quirky accessory product line aimed at the youth.

The Meizu PANDAER x Elvis XOG Platinum Unicorn Cyber Bluetooth ​​Speaker has been promised to deliver a “powerful acoustic feast” and comes with a “Platinum Unicorn” customized skin on top. It features dual 48mm independent full-range units, subwoofer, and bass amplifier. There’s even built-in Meizu Sound with a variety of custom EQ.

The product has been jointly developed by Meizu Acoustics and Elvis technical team, through which the Super Alive Bass tech has been included in the speakers.

In terms of design, the PANDAER desktop bluetooth speaker adopts a platinum unicorn pattern, all-metal mecha shell, and customized Unicorm Halo light effect.

Other specs include 80ms audio delay, which is comparable to gaming TWS earbuds, IPX5 water resistance, USB-C fast charging, long battery life, custom sound effects, Bluetooth 5.0, and AUX access.

The Meizu PANDAER x Elvis XOG Platinum Unicorn Cyber ​​Speaker will be selling at a retail price of ¥1,499, which is around $235. A global launch hasn’t been announced and will likely never be, meaning that the desktop Bluetooth speaker is actually a China-exclusive product.

Along with the launch of the Meizu PANDAER x Elvis XOG Platinum Unicorn Cyber ​​Bluetooth Speaker, the company has also announced that it would be diverging into three product lines, namely PANDAER X, PANDAER Teochew, and PANDAER Life Research Institute.
