The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has announced that it will release its much anticipated OnePlus 9RT in the Indian market tomorrow (January 14). The brand has also said that it will be releasing the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earphones in India along with the 9RT. So, here’s how you can watch the livestream for the launch event.
The launch event will be livestreamed on OnePlus India’s official Youtube channel. It will kick off in India at 5 PM IST. Other than the Youtube channel, the launch event will also be livestreamed on the OnePlus website, as well as the company’s official social media handles like Twitter and Facebook.
OnePlus 9RT specs and features
Since the phone is already available in China, we know almost all of the device’s features phone’s details. The OnePlus 9RT 5G comes with a 6.62-inch punch-hole display featuring a Full-HD+ resolution.
It has HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The phone boasts protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen also doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner. It sports a triple camera system at the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device has a 16MP single selfie camera lens.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65W fast charging support. It boots on Android 11 out of the box.
OnePlus Buds Z2 specs and features
As for the OnePlus Buds Z2, which is also scheduled to launch tomorrow, the TWS earbuds will come featuring 11mm base-tuned Dynamic Drivers and a 3-mic setup for calibrating the Noise and White reduction. It has Dolby Atmos support and features Bluetooth v5.2.
The Buds Z2 is capable of 40dB Active Noise Cancellation and also features a transparency mode which is useful for listening to music or taking calls while being aware of your surroundings.
OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with a charging case and has a total battery life of 38 hours. It supports OnePlus’s Flash Charge technology that offers up to 5 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charging. It can offer up to 7 hours if the ANC feature is turned off.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 has been tipped to be priced at ₹4,999 in India. As for the pricing of the OnePlus 9RT smartphones, numerous rumors have claimed different prices. Some have stated that the smartphone’s top version will cost around ₹37,999 to ₹39,999 while others have said that the device will be offered between the ₹40,000 and ₹44,000 price range.
