Several smartphones are expected to launch in China after the Chinese New Year holidays. Among them is the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone, which has been already teased by the brand. Now, tipster Panda is Bald has tipped the key specifications of the device.

The Legion Y90 gaming phone is fitted with a 6.92-inch AMOLED E4 panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. While some reports had claimed that the Legion Y90 has Snapdragon 888 SoC, the new leak claims that it is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

It is likely to be backed by a massive 5,500mAh battery, which may carry support for 68W charging. To recall, the device was spotted with its L70161 model number at the 3C certification site with a 68W charger.

The gaming phone may come with up to 18 GB of RAM and it may carry support for 4GB of virtual RAM. It is likely to ship with up to 512 GB of storage. The handset is equipped with a dual x-axis linear motor for haptics.

Previous reports have claimed that the device is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and Double Engine Air Cooling technology. Like the previous Legion gaming phone, the Y90 is likely to be equipped with a pair of USB-C ports. The display of the device is equipped with symmetrical bezels with the top bezel housing a speaker and a selfie camera. The Legion Y90 is likely to face competition from other gaming phones such as RED MAGIC 7 and Black Shark 5 series.
