OnePlus today released a new update to its second latest flagship lineup. Both OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro have received an update dubbed OxygenOS 12 C.44 and it comes with a bunch of new features, multiple optimizations, and some bug fixes.

You also get the latest January 2022 security patch, which is great considering we are still in January.

Some of the new features include an enhanced dark mode that lets you choose between three color tones, improved desktop icons, new additional style options for Shelf Cards, Canvas AOD additions, and more.

The new OxygenOS 12 C.44 update is being rolled out in stages and has made it to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro devices in Europe, North America, and India, although some features are currently limited to European users.

If you haven’t received it yet, then worry not for OnePlus has promised a broader rollout in the coming days. A manual check can still be performed by heading over to Settings > System > System Updates.
