Redmi India will be holding a launch event for the Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones on Feb. 9 in India. Today, the company confirmed that it will be also unveiling the Smart Band Pro fitness tracker alongside the Note 11 lineup.

The landing page of the Smart Band Pro is now live on Xiaomi India’s website. It shows that the device will be equipped with a big rectangle-shaped display that will offer features like an always-on display and auto-brightness. The fitness tracker will offer over 110+ workout modes and it will be capable of tracking calories burnt, SpO2, and heart rate.

The Redmi Smart Band Pro will be equipped with a LifeQ health algorithm for tracking health vitals accurately and continuously. It will offer other features such as 14 water fitness modes, water-resistant construction, power saving mode for the battery, and watch faces. As the name goes, it is an enhanced version of the Smart Band that debuted with a price tag of Rs 1,599 (~$21) back in September last year. It seems to be the same fitness band, which was announced for the global markets in October last year.

Redmi Smart Band Pro specifications

The Redmi Smart Band Pro has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display that offers 450 nits peak brightness and 282ppi pixel density. The 50ATM water-resistant fitness tracker is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, PPG heart-rate tracker, and SpO2 tracker.

The Smart Band Pro has a 200mAh battery that can be charged using a magnetic cable. It promises 14-days of battery life and it can last for up to 20 days in power-saving mode. Probably, the Smart Band Pro could be priced under Rs 3,000 (~$40) in India.
