Xiaomi unveiled MIUI 13 at the Xiaomi 12 series launch event at the end of December. Since then, the firm has been updating the eligible smartphones and tablets to the new version of its mobile operating system.

The new software is being finally rolled out to Xiaomi CIVI with build number V13.0.2.0.SKVCNXM. Apart from bringing new MIUI features, the latest system update for the phone also come with Android 12.

Like any other OTA software update, this one is also being seeded out in batches. In simpler words, some users may get the update earlier, while others may have to wait longer. Anyway, everyone should get access to the software in the coming days.

The Xiaomi CIVI debuted with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 in late September. The device was updated to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition in November. Three months from that, it has begun to receive its first major system update in the form of Android 12-based MIUI 13.

Usually, Xiaomi provides two Android updates and three MIUI updates for mid-range and flagship smartphones. Therefore, CIVI will likely receive another Android update and two more MIUI updates in the future.
