Over the last couple of weeks, we have reported on a number of teasers from Lenovo for its upcoming Legion Y90 gaming smartphone and Legion Y700 tablet. Now, it appears that the company is gearing up to launch another product in China under its Legion branding, and this time, its a professional gaming monitor.
The Chinese consumer electronics maker has just announced the new Legion Y25 gaming monitor that it will be launching in China soon. For those unaware, this gaming monitor was first announced back in CES 2022 alongside a number of other gaming peripherals as well. Talking about its specifications, the gaming monitor carries the model number Y25-30 and sports a 24.5 inch display. It is an IPS LCD panel that features a Full HD resolution and 240Hz refresh rate, which would be great for gamers that play competitive titles.
Furthermore, this panel has a 1ms response time and offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The Legion Y25 also offers 99 percent sRGB color gamut and 8bit color depth as well. Connectivity options include, two HDMI 2.0 ports along with one Display Port 1.4 interface. It even houses two 3W speakers and is certified with AMD FreeSync Premium technology. The teaser also revealed the launch date for the new gaming monitor, which is set to release on 28th February 2022. Notably, this is also the launch date for the Legion Y90 gaming smartphone as well, so stick around as we will be covering the launch event later this month.
