The iQOO 9 Pro was unveiled in India just days back and the new firmware will optimize the smartphone’s compatibility with Bluetooth devices as well as network adaptability in some regions of the global market. The first units of the iQOO 9 Pro will be available in India by March 2, 2022, and only models with designation I2022 are covered by the software update. So the likely thing is that users will get the update prompt when they have completed the setup processes for their new devices.

There are a few fundamental departures between the iQOO 9 Pro global edition and the Chinese model. Importantly, the global model runs on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 unlike the Origin OS in the Chinese model. It however has much of the specs of the original Chinese model.

The iQOO 9 Pro has two memory configurations in India namely the 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB RAM/ internal storage combinations. The iQOO 9 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which is a premium SoC also deployed in some other flagship models. The price of the iQOO 9 Pro in India is between Rs. 64,990 ($865) and Rs. 69,990 ($930).
