The Realme GT2 and GT2 Pro were unveiled first in China in January. Both devices were announced for the global markets last week. New information reveals that the GT2 Pro will be launched in India this month. A report by MySmartPrice has leaked the RAM, storage, and color variants of the GT2 Pro for the Indian market.
Citing Mukul Sharma as the source, the publication reported that the Realme GT2 Pro will be arriving in India in two options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be made available in three color options, such as Paper Black, Paper White, and Paper Green. At present, there is no information on the pricing of the GT2 Pro for India.
Now that the Realme GT2 Pro is tipped to launch this month in India, it is likely to soon confirm the launch date in the coming days. It is unclear whether the vanilla Realme GT2 will be launching alongside the Pro model in the country.
Realme GT2 Pro specifications
The Realme GT2 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is present under the hood of the GT2 Pro. The device will include LPPDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
The GT2 Pro will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 150-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel microscope camera. For security, it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device will come preinstalled with Realme UI 3.0 and the Android 12 OS.
