Yamaha has updated its electric bicycle line with the unveiling of its refreshed Wabash RT and CrossCore RC. The two models come with Yamaha’s newly minted PWSeries ST mid-drive motor. While the Wabash RT is suitable for off-road riding, the CrossCore RC is a conventional road running electric bike.Yamaha Power and Assist Bicycles

Yamaha Power and Assist Bicycles is the arm focused on the production of the Yamaha electric bikes and it says both models reflect the finer ideals of the company in producing functional and efficient models. The company says there is a growing need for electric bicycles as fitness and mobility tools, and the two e-bikes will be useful in several scenarios.

The PWSeries ST motor has a capacity of 500W and provides four levels of pedal assist to reach the top speed of 28mph. Four sensors namely for the torque, crank cadence, wheel speed, and bike angle, combine to continuously calculate and apply the precise amount of power while riding. Both bikes reflect massive improvements from the original 2019 Wabash RT and CrossCore RT models. They also come with individual innovations and features that put them in good stead in their respective rid segments.Yamaha Power and Assist Bicycles
