OnePlus has recently released a new software update for their OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices that claims to fix a bunch of problems users have been complaining about for quite some time.

The OnePlus 9 update comes with firmware version LE2111_11.C.46 for Indian users and LE2113_11.C.46 for users in Europe. The OnePlus 9 Pro updates have firmware version LE2121_11.C.46 for the Indian variant and LE2123_11.C.46 for the European variant.

The changes brought by the latest update are listed below.

  • System
    • [Improved] system stability
    • [Fixed] the abnormal display of AOD
    • [Fixed] the issue of blurred screen in some scenarios
    • [Fixed] the issue that Alexa APP crashes in some scenarios
    • [Updated] Android security patch to 2022.02
  • Network
    • [Fixed] the issue that unable to register 5G network in some scenarios

This update notably doesn’t come to North American users of the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. The company has stated that this is due to specific country-related limitations. OnePlus however implied that these updates might make it to NA users in their next update cycle.

As usual, the OTA update is rolling out in batches, so it will take some time before it reaches everyone. If you have not received this OTA update yet, you can check its availability by heading to Settings > System > System updates on your device.
