The Redmi K50 series has been officially announced to launch on March 17, quite possibly with a number of other important products. Following a bunch of official teasers about the phones, the Redmi today revealed that they will be the first in the industry to support Bluetooth 5.3.
According to the company website, Bluetooth 5.3 on the Redmi K50 series will lower latency, be better optimized for gaming, lower power consumption, and have a more powerful anti-interference ability.
The Redmi K50 series already is the first to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 high-end chipset so Bluetooth 5.3 is just another industry-first for it.
Redmi also earlier said that the Redmi K50 series “restores the beauty of the universe with the usage of a new ‘nano-microcrystalline process’ inspired by the Olivine Meteorite,” which will be present on the back cover of the devices.
The Redmi K50 series comprises four models, namely Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+, and the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, with all of them being equipped with different processors — Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 9000, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, respectively. From these, the Dimensity 9000 appears to be the most powerful, at least in terms of benchmarks.
